This year Ignite was in the Kinobs summer camp teaching robotics and programming.
It was two intensive weeks where we performed Steam activities. The methodology of summer activity was structured in two parts, during the morning the children worked with Lego education material mounting simple and motorized machines and in the afternoon they worked with Lego Mindstorm material and programming with Scratch Junior.
During the mornings of the first days they did activities with instructions to learn to mechanize and to take filming with the Lego material. The last days in the morning prepared mini projects, such as an amusement park. In the last few hours they created sumo players with Mindstorms and programmed drones who could later try flying.
